Write for Crisis Intel
Crisis Intel publishes field-practitioner intelligence — case studies, operational guidance, and analytical briefs from people who have done the work. We welcome submissions from credentialed practitioners across the five practice areas.
What we publish
- Case studies — first-hand accounts of an incident, deployment, exercise, or programme, with what worked and what did not.
- Operational guidance — checklists, playbooks, and frameworks tested in real engagements.
- Analytical briefs — short-form analysis of a current event, policy change, or emerging risk.
- Field reports — observations from a deployment, training, conference, or site visit.
Practice areas we cover
- Emergency & Disaster Management
- Homeland Security
- Business Continuity
- Road Safety
- Governance Technology
How to pitch
- Send a 2–3 sentence description of the piece, your relevant credentials, and a sample paragraph or outline.
- Indicate the practice area and whether the piece is time-sensitive (tied to a specific event or deadline).
- If we think it’s a fit, we’ll come back with editorial guidance, a target word count, and a deadline.
What we don’t publish
- Vendor product write-ups or sponsored content disguised as analysis.
- Speculation without sourcing or first-hand experience.
- Pieces previously published elsewhere without explicit republication agreement.
